1. The objective of the training
The petroleum industry is one of the most influential players in the world economy.
Given the large scale of capital investment required for most petroleum projects, it is
important that investment decisions are based on a thorough analysis of variables and
uncertainties. An ability to assess the viability of investments and the real value of oil
and gas assets is critical to success where a range of complex technologies and
facilities are required. This 2 years education course enables students to:

Understand the mechanics behind the distribution of petroleum resources and the organisations that constitute the industry
Explore the dynamics of the extraction process and the technologies used to process, store, transport and refine oil and gas

B.Sc. in Petroleum Logistics

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Petroleum logistics is a one-year programme. It is designed to train management personnel to provide the needed supervisory role to link theory and practice in the Petroleum Industry. The programme is structured for HND graduates in the field of transportation, Petroleum logistics, Logistics etc.

The programme consists of two-semester industrial training in a logistics firm or in a company that specializes in any of the transportation of petroleum, petroleum products, storage etc.
